shows a crowned rose in the center
representing England, a thistle bud to the
left representing Scotland, and a shamrock
leaf to the right representing Ireland.
The royal cypher, 'G' and 'R', is divided to
either side. The main design is encircled by
a legend reading ':FID::DEF:' above, with
'TWO SHILLINGS' and the date below.
